Metal After Work! – Seventh Crystal, Chainsaw Holiday, Together to the Stars

On Friday 20 November, Klubben at Nalen hosts a full evening of melodic hard rock, metal and dreamy blackgaze. Seventh Crystal, Chainsaw Holiday and Together to the Stars deliver everything from bombastic productions and infectious melodies to powerful riffs and dark, emotionally charged soundscapes.

Seventh Crystal are signed to Frontiers Records and play melodic hard rock. With three acclaimed albums and well-received live performances across Europe, the band have demonstrated an impressive musical range. They aim to be a source of inspiration, an outlet and an escape for their audience. Their sound is characterised by bombastic productions, catchy hooks and dramatic, emotional melodies.

Chainsaw Holiday explore metal in its many forms, drawing on the band members’ diverse musical backgrounds. Powerful 1980s-inspired riffs meet memorable melodies and solos, while the music ventures into extreme metal with detours into punk along the way.

Together to the Stars are a Stockholm-based band playing dreamy, sorrowful and bitter blackgaze. The five-piece draw on black metal, post-rock, screamo and post-hardcore, blending these influences into something deeply emotional and human. On their fourth full-length album, Iridescence, they combine grief, intensity and strength with contemplative and introspective lyrics about surviving inner hells, perseverance, loss and the hateful world we live in.
