Join us after work on Friday 13 November from 16.00–20.00. Expect good company, great drinks at friendly prices, and Gavin Maycroft curating the music until the evening’s live acts take the stage.

Gavin Maycroft is a Brit adopted by Sweden, booking bands for our pals at Fasching and the Stockholm Jazz Festival. At carefully chosen moments, he can also be found behind the decks, drawing inspiration from around the world with selections that move between genres, eras and expressions. His favourite thing is to play before and after live acts, aiming to reflect their sound whilst also, hopefully, sounding nothing like them. At Nalen, he has previously played records for both Donny Benét and Kronos Quartet.

On Friday 13 November, our friend Gavin will be behind the decks in the restaurant. Expect sharp, precise tunes sitting comfortably alongside loose, organic treasures and, as ever, suitably selected magic. There’ll also be good company and great drinks at friendly prices waiting at the bar.

That evening, the British folk duo Harbour Company, consisting of Fran and Martin Baxter, will also make their live debut in Klubben, with Portable Dogs and William Wahlberg providing support. At the same time, Klubb DÖD presents industrial legends SPK in Stora Salen, with The Stellar Cult as support. Doors open at 20.00 for both concerts.

Nalen, at Regeringsgatan 74, is centrally located in Stockholm, just a stone’s throw from Hötorget, Drottninggatan and Sergels Torg, with easy access to both the metro and Stockholm Central Station.
