Pelarsalen is one of Nalen’s most popular spaces – a versatile event venue in Stockholm, equally well suited for conferences and meetings as for parties, mingles, and other events.

With a separate entrance from David Bagares Street 17, guests have their own entrance directly to the venue, creating a smooth and welcoming start to the day or evening.

The venue has an intriguing history as a former boxing hall for the classic Narva club, previously known as Stacken. In 2019, it underwent an extensive renovation and received its current name – Pelarsalen. Today, its historic legacy is combined with modern comfort and technology.

The colour scheme is warm grey and the floor is adorned with elegant herringbone parquet. The venue receives beautiful daylight from three large windows, creating an airy and pleasant atmosphere. Pelarsalen is equipped with a fixed stage and offers flexible furnishing that can easily be adapted to any type of event. For presentations, there are three projectors and three screens – perfect for ensuring good visibility from every seat. A spacious lounge area is ideal for coffee breaks, meal service, mingles, or exhibitions.

As in all Nalen’s venues, the venue hire always includes furniture, tableware and our professional service staff. You can choose from several furnishing options such as standing tables, high stools, red velvet chairs, long tables or round tables. The stage can also be styled with armchairs, rugs and low tray tables for a more personal touch.

Day conferences include lighting and sound equipment, Wi-Fi, whiteboard, flipchart, four microphones (two headsets and two handhelds), projector and screen, and a conference host who is available throughout your stay. Evening events include ambient lighting, but we recommend a party package that includes sound and lighting equipment, two microphones, DJ equipment, projector, screen, mixer and technician to create the right atmosphere.
